Announcements Week of May 27

Below are your announcements for the week of May 27.

-Memorial Day Parade is Here! Monday May 27!  Call Time is 11am. Parade Starts
At 12 and students will be done by 1 and can be picked up at the Band Room.
See Below for full itinerary/uniform info. SENIORS(2019 grads!) are welcome and
Encouraged to attend.
-Memorial Day Early Service Volunteers - Please arrive at the band room at 8am
For a short rehearsal/tuning and carpool arrangement. Room will open at 7:45am.
-Marching Band forms and down payment are due. Please turn these in so we
Can start finalizing our drill before school is out.
-Trailer Washing and maintenance will be happening over the next two weeks.  
We need to Power wash and scrub the exterior prior to getting it wrapped.
Dates And times will got out soon so please be on the lookout.
-Recent Graduates - you will be removed from the mailing list shortly. Thank You for your
patience.

11:00am - Call Time - Ready to Play - in CHS Band Room for Rehearsal
11:25am - March to Stadium Parking Lot for staging
11:40am - Arrive at Parking Lot and line Up
12:00pm - Parade Step-Off
12:20pm - Arrive at Lakeside Cemetery for service
12:45pm - Service Done - Load busses at Caledonia UMC
1:00pm - Get picked-up at CHS

UNIFORM: Shorts, Tennis Shoes, Red, White, Blue (or combination) t-shirt

-SENIORS! - Make sure you have your books/uniforms/equipment/account
balances turned in by the end of  the day Thursday (your last day). Diplomas
will be held by the main office until these items are taken care of.
-Please Review your Marching Band information that went home last week.
-THANK YOU to everyone who has been participating in our fundraising efforts.
-THANK YOU Seniors and Senior Parents for all you have done for our program.
You will be removed from our email lists at the beginning of June.

Marching Band Information


As our year starts to wrap up it is time to plan for next year!  Band Camp
and Marching Band are just around the corner and there are many things
we need to do to prepare for a successful season.



Here are a few important upcoming dates:

Deposit  and Forms Due: May 20
1st Payment Due: June 1
2nd Payment Due: July 2
Final Payment Due: July 15
Pre-Camp: July 15-18
Band Camp at Lincoln Lake: July 21-26

Finances: Our Boosters does a great job of helping organize our
season, and organizing fundraisers so everyone can participate.  
Please do not let the financial commitment deter your participation.
We can help you fundraise, offer need based scholarships on a limited
basis, and can organize a different payment plan if needed.  Please
contact our boosters treasurer Cindy VanNoord if you have any questions
regarding finances: crvannoord@charter.net

Communication: We will be double and triple checking our
email lists as we begin to process paperwork, etc.  If you know
someone who is not receiving our communication please forward this
message to them, and have them contact us.  It is very important to
that we reach everyone and that our database is accurate!

ask any questions you may have!
